"Electronic Magnetic Field". Current theories state that an entity that is trying to manifest or interact will cause variations in the electronic magnetic fields that can be detected with different EMF monitoring devices used by NCPS.

"Electronic Voice Phenomenon". It is believed that Digital and Analog recording devices can record disembodied voices that are sometimes not audible by the human ear. NCPS investigators uses these recording devices and believes that we have successfully captured and recorded these voices during paranormal investigations.

An anomaly is any occurrence or object that is strange, unusual or unique. It can also mean a discrepancy or deviation from the established rules dictating what is normal.

Residual Haunting often centers on moments of intense emotion: someone´s beheading, a great battle, a murder or even a celebration. Paranormal investigators theorize that a residual haunting is the result of discharged personal energy of a person or group of people being imprinted on the surrounding environment, most commonly at or just after death and replaying like a movie.

The disembodied energy of a deceased human being that is not only self aware, but quite capable of interacting within the living world of time and space. These interactions may include making itself visible to the naked eye, being able to communicate and being capable of touching the living. These manifestations have been known to possess the ability to manufacture odors that were associated with their human host when they were alive (tobacco, perfume or aftershave).

It is an unexpected, wonderful or preternatural appearance; a ghost, a specter or phantom.
